Best for: Sites with a dome / underground supply
Dwarf pole connections suit sites that already have a Western Power dome. The customer holds the Synergy account; we typically attend in two visits — first to install the pole, then to supply and connect the meter so power is live on departure.
What's included
- Supply and installation of the meter (temporary or permanent)
- Pole installation
- Energised connection - power is on when we leave
Requirements
- Western Power dome on site
- Customer-held Synergy account
- Synergy reference number supplied on the application form
How it works
- Customer applies for a Synergy account (online or by phone) and supplies the reference number on our application form
- Visit 1: we install the dwarf pole
- Visit 2: we supply the meter and complete the connection — power is live on departure
Important notes
- Temporary meter option (cash / one-off customers): we remove the meter on disconnection and return it to Western Power, which closes the account. No removal charge.
- Permanent meter option (ongoing customers): the meter stays with the property and is later relocated into the meter box. An additional relocation fee applies.
- Meters cannot be moved between properties. They must remain with the property until removed or relocated.
